SAATI’s Pro-Lite series are assembled exclusively with 405nm LED arrays - emitting only the perfect targeted wavelength to thoroughly cure stencils, with far less energy expenditure than traditional systems, and with no ambient heat, so the savings extend to climate control as well. Pro-Lite lamps are also the preferred solution for printers looking to substitute failing light sources integrated into older exposure units.
The most important factors in stencil exposure are the directionality of the light and the wavelength of the light.
SAATI exposure equipment like the LTS and Pro-Lite series and CST equipment depend upon parallelized single-point, 405 nm LED light sources. This is the ideal combination for printers to thoroughly cure their stencils in the shortest amount of time while also using the least amount of energy.
405 nm light equally exposes stencils through the entire thickness and don't bounce off or escape out the back. Stencil adhesion is improved and print runs can be extended.
Emitting only the single most effective light wavelength using targeted LED or Lasers means a reduction in the energy used to expose screens. Legacy technologies generated a lot of heat which taxed air conditioning, and emitted a broad range of wavelengths that ultimately contributed nothing to stencil curing.
Single point light sources cast one crisp shadow, which is the ultimate goal of exposure. Multi-point light sources like LED strips project light towards the film positive or mask from multiple angles - which cause fine details to fill in.
